The Iron Duck division of Fleming Industries, Inc., made its entrance into the Emergency Medical Service market in 1986; at this point an initial product line including six medical bags and an assortment of accessory items was offered. The success of these items has lead to the current product line that includes over 100 designs of carry cases, 10 configurations of Anti-Pathogen plastic backboards, 60 styles of immobilization straps and harnesses along with a large variety of accessory items. Iron Duck products have not only become the standard of EMS agencies worldwide but are now being sought after by Federal organizations to help streamline their equipment protection and transport needs.

In order to meet the global demand for Iron Duck products, a 55,000 square foot facility was built in 1995 dedicated to manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, and office functions. In 2000, a second factory was built to supplement new product development and special projects. While many manufactures have begun to produce items off-shore, all Iron Duck products are proudly made in the USA. This is being achieved by using the latest in manufacturing techniques and equipment.
